Austin Mill, APRN, is the Program Manager at Innovative Diabetic Center (IDC), where he combines clinical expertise, compassionate care, and personalized attention to improve the lives of individuals living with diabetes. Known for his deeply engaged consultation style, Austin dedicates significant time to understanding each patient’s unique needs, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their health goals and quality of life. A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Austin began his healthcare journey after graduating from North Dakota State University’s nursing school. He spent six years in the intensive care unit (ICU), where he honed his clinical skills and built a strong foundation in managing complex medical cases. Inspired to make a broader impact, he advanced his career as a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializing in pain management before transitioning into the field of diabetes care. Today, Austin plays a key leadership role at IDC, supporting both patients and clinical operations. His background in critical care and chronic pain management allows him to approach diabetic treatment with a uniquely comprehensive perspective. He works closely with referring providers and the IDC team to ensure a seamless, high-integrity experience rooted in education, collaboration, and innovation.
Beyond the clinic, Austin enjoys Scottsdale’s warm climate and vibrant community. He values time with family and friends and is passionate about golf—a space where his love for precision, patience, and focus carries over from healthcare into recreation.
